On July 7th, with Ms. Hisako Ueda, leader of Rumble, as our guest, the 67th National Haiku Yamadera Convention was held.
After the awards ceremony for elementary and junior high school students and the general public, in the afternoon lecture titled 'Gosen'oku Ueda and Yamagata,' she spoke about her memories with her father, Gosen'oku Ueda, and haiku composed in Yamagata.
With 54 participants from Asahikawa City and other locations inside and outside the prefecture, the convention commemorating the 380th anniversary of Basho-o's birth concluded lively and successfully.
We look forward to your participation next year as well.
