Special Exhibition: Masterpieces from the Collection – From the Muromachi Period to the Present Day

Masterpieces including "Haru mo Yaya" (Painting by Morikawa Kyoriku, Inscription by Matsuo Basho) and "Aritōshi-zu" (Brushwork by Hanabusa Itchō) will be selected from the collection of the Yamadera Basho Memorial Museum and exhibited.
Masterpieces of haikai literature and historical materials will be showcased from Basho's calligraphy and the Yama (Yama ni Maru) Hasegawa Collection, Ebara Taizo / Obara Tsutomu Collection, etc., along with notable selected paintings. Please come and see these works of high literary and artistic value.
