On July 30th, students from Yamadera Elementary and Junior High School and Honjo Junior High School from Saiki City, Oita Prefecture, held an exchange event and visited the Yamadera Basho Memorial Museum. After breaking a sweat climbing Risshaku-ji Temple, perhaps seeing the Yōkai Exhibition helped them cool down a bit... After visiting the Yōkai Exhibition, they composed and submitted haiku under the guidance of Ms. Nami Takeda! Thank you for visiting us again this year.
