On October 26th, in commemoration of Basho's death anniversary on October 12th (New Calendar), the 56th Basho Memorial Haiku Competition was held. Prior to the opening, dedicatory haiku were offered by the judges, and the event concluded successfully in a peaceful atmosphere.
We look forward to your participation again next year.
