On July 9th, the 66th National Haiku Yamadera Convention was held, welcoming Mr. Hosoya Ryoryo, a native of our prefecture. In the afternoon lecture, titled 'Ancient Haikai Seeds Scattered – Basho and Shibuya Michi,' he spoke about the haiku of Shibuya Michi, a haiku poet associated with Shinjo.
The convention concluded successfully, with 66 participants from inside and outside the prefecture, including Sapporo City.
We look forward to your participation again next year.
